In the summer term, Jack single handedly organised and produced a fashion show in aid of the Yo-Yo counselling service run by Farleigh Hospice.

Jack took part in a scheme run by the Hospice where they give a young person £50, which can then be used for the basis of raising funds for the Hospice.

Jack loves fashion and would like to be involved in the fashion industry when he leaves school, and so thought of the idea of running a fashion show to raise vital funds for the counselling service. Jack recruited a team of models from his year group, and he then spent hours of his own time making several outfits for each model to wear during the fashion show. Jack directed the show and spent a long time before the evening rehearsing with the models, and choosing appropriate music and lighting for the catwalk. He also collected a number of prizes for a raffle during the interval, and sold a variety of snacks during the show, all to raise extra money. The show was excellent, and attended by a large audience. The show raised just under £400 for the hospice, which Jack personally presented to them in July. We are really proud of his hard work and achievement, and think he would be a worthy recipient of the award.

Well done Jack!
