Blue Devils Basketball at Notley High School

Braintree Blue Devils is a community-fuelled, all-inclusive basketball club that for 10 years has served as the gateway for children into the sport that has seen rapidly growing interest. The leading provider of basketball in the district, ‘Blue Devils’ is an organisation proudly run today by qualified coaches and a dedicated committee, committed to expanding the prominence of basketball in the area and developing players of all ages.

Despite being the third largest club in Essex, the Blue Devils have always maintained a strict ethos that welcomes players of all abilities.

No trials.
No prerequisites.

The only criteria are the motivations to learn the game, develop your skills, and become a positive contribution to your team. There are a number of teams available that accommodate all ages, including U12 mixed, U14 Boys and Girls, and U16 Boys and Girls. Teams compete in the National League, as well as several local invitational tournaments, where the club has seen several successes over the years.
With their home venue here at NHS, Braintree Blue Devils has continued to collaborate with the school in providing basketballs for extra-curricular clubs and has benefitted from a number of students joining the club as players, officials or even coaches – all qualified positions that the club can provide opportunities for!
