Notley High School & Braintree Sixth Form is supporting Safer Internet Day 2016.

Notley High School & Braintree Sixth Form is joining hundreds of other organisations across the UK in celebrating Safer Internet Day and promoting the safe and responsible use of technology. To celebrate the day, Notley High School & Braintree Sixth Form is having a Safer Internet Day lesson on 11 February during PDT.

Safer Internet Day 2016 is on Tuesday 9th February 2016 with the theme ‘Play your part for a better internet’, offering the opportunity to focus on both the creative and positive things that children and young people are doing online, as well as the role that we all play in helping to create a better Internet.

Mr Newman, Senior Deputy Headteacher, said “Ensuring our students have the skills to use the Internet safely, as well as understanding the potential dangers, is crucially important for all young people in today’s world, and we take our role in helping them to understand these issues very seriously”.
