During the 2016/17 Summer Term, an opportunity to participate in the Jack Petchey Table Tennis Donation Scheme presented itself to us.

The scheme provides an opportunity for schools to increase table tennis participation among young people, during and after school hours. It gives young people a chance to try something new, develop their skills and, most importantly, have fun.

We were successful in our application and have recently taken delivery of four new branded Butterfly National League 22 indoor table tennis tables and an extensive equipment package.The scheme runs in conjunction with Table Tennis England, who also provide us with teacher/young leader training and competition opportunities and provide support related to table tennis development including news updates.We are all very excited to have this new equipment, which will be used during PE lessons, lunch time clubs and inter-house competitions.

Table Tennis Club is run by Mrs Forster every Thursday lunchtine in the fitness centre. Players of all abilities, from beginner to expert are welcome, so do come along and try it out!
