On Friday 21^st September, 48 students were given the opportunity to visit Namco Funscape bowling alley in Braintree as part of a Year 8 rewards trip. 

Students that participated were those that achieved excellent homework and classwork effort grades in their end of Year 7 report. As we made the short journey to the bowling alley, the students all seemed very excited at the prospect of the trip, as well as missing one of their afternoon lessons! When we arrived, students got into groups of six or seven and made their way to the lanes where the fierce competition began. At one point, Josh Nicoll managed to score a spare with a rather slow moving bowling ball! Toby Piper was also a clear leader at one point in his group’s game. All students had an enjoyable afternoon celebrating their success.
