Former Notley High pupil Nicky Eyre found himself on the bench in the Spurs Vs Crystal Palace Barclays Premiership clash on Saturday 22nd after a series of events that finally shot him into the limelight.The young goalkeeper, understudy in the reserves to Marton Fulop and Robert Burch all season, covered for Paul Robinson at Selhurst Park when Marton's back injury failed to improve in time.
