Luke was nominated for the Jack Petchey award by his year leader for sailing a yacht in the first leg of a Round Britain Challenge.
Luke was selected to join the 8 man team of teenagers to sail a yacht from Ipswich to Edinburgh at the start of the summer. This was quite a challenge for Luke as he is not usually a person to put himself forward for things like this; it was certainly outside his comfort zone! We are very impressed with this attitude and effort in taking this on.
