Kelsey was nominated to receive this award by one of her parents. Kelsey’s friend became ill and needed to go on a special liquid diet for 6 weeks.
She was in a lot of pain and was upset that she wouldn’t be able to eat food. Kelsey decided to support her by only drinking liquid during the day as well – she also did this for 6 weeks, going without all of her treats and only having an evening meal. She showed true friendship and sacrifice to support her friend during this difficult period.
