During the half-term week, 36 students from Years 7-9, 5 staff and one parent returned from a very successful Geography field trip to the Bay of Naples in Italy.
The five day visit included excursions to the summit of Mount Vesuvius, the Roman towns of Pompeii and Herculaneum destroyed by the volcano in AD79, and a tour of the Amalfi Coast. The weather was sunny (for the most part) and all the students had a fantastic time. It has to be said that all the students were a credit to the school whilst away – well done to everyone involved.
