As I am sure you will recall, last year we lost one of our most loved members of staff, Miss Smart, who died peacefully at home following a long illness.
Miss Smart always enjoyed taking time to look at the fishpond outside her room and it now seems appropriate and fitting that we redevelop the area in her memory.On 30th April we held a non-uniform day for which pupils were charged the usual £1. In addition, the staff band played during an extended lunchtime and pupils were asked to make a voluntary contribution of £1.
The final total raised was a phenominal £2003! Thank you to everyone who contributed during the day.
