On Thursday 10 October 2019, I visited the Knitting and Stitching Show at Alexandra Palace, London. I had visited the show previously, so I knew what to expect. 

We arrived at the venue after a minibus ride with an absolutely lovely driver! We were given the opportunity to look around before meeting up at 12:45pm and then walking around again. There was a variety of stalls to look around; one of my favourites was ‘Artists in Action’ a place where we could talk to textile artists and look at the techniques they were showing.

Lots of exhibits were available to look at and we could take photographs of artists’ work and the stalls where we could buy materials. I found this interesting as we could see how other people have decided to use the materials and I believe this will help me when making my final design in lessons.
