Dear Parents/carers
I hope this letter finds you well. As one of the governors of Notley High School & Braintree Sixth form, I am writing to you today with an exciting opportunity for our school community.
We are pleased to announce that we are setting up a preloved uniform 'shop' for our students. This initiative aims to provide affordable and sustainable options for families, as well as reduce waste and support our school's environmental efforts.
To make this project a success, we are reaching out to you, for your help. We are kindly asking if you have any uniforms in good, washed condition or new condition, that you would be willing to donate to the school. Your generosity will go a long way in ensuring that all our students have access to the necessary clothing they need to feel comfortable and confident at school.
Additionally, we are seeking volunteers to help maintain the preloved uniform 'shop'. If you are able to spare one or two hours per month, please let us know. Your support will be invaluable in keeping the 'shop' organised and accessible for our families.
If you are unable to donate uniform but would like to support the project in other ways, we would greatly appreciate any donations of a roller rack or plastic lidded boxes suitable for storing the uniforms, as well as hangers.
If you have any further questions or would like more information about how you can get involved, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Mrs N Goodwin
