Children's Welfare Concerns

As we end the term for the school holidays, we wanted to remind you of sources of support if you have any concerns about a child’s welfare over the break.  

If a child or young person is in immediate danger, call 999. 

Essex Children’s Social Care: If you're worried about the safety or wellbeing of a child, call the children's line on 0345 603 7627. This phone line is open Monday to Thursday 9am to 5:30pm, and Fridays 9am to 4:30pm. Out of hours or bank holidays, please call the emergency duty team on 0345 606 1212. Alternatively, you can complete an online request for support. 

If you wish to let the school know about any safeguarding concerns, please use the email address safeguarding@notleyhigh.com. Please note this email address is monitored periodically over the holiday and should not be used in the first instance for urgent concerns.

End of term and start of term

All students will be finishing on Tuesday 19th December at 1pm.  Students will be returning on Thursday 4th January which will be a Week A so please help to ensure your child brings the appropriate books and equipment.

Essex Athletics

Amalie T has been selected to represent Essex Athletics at the Sportshall Regional Finals in February.

Whole school internal exams

Letters are going home before the end of term about whole school exams starting in the week commencing 15 January, including revision topics and strategies.

Year 11 Mock Exam

Year 11 students will be sitting Physics Paper 1 during exam week and may wish to start their preparations over the Christmas break.
