To clarify the rules concerning wearing of coats in school, students are expected to take their coats off once they are inside the main body of the school.  This is to allow staff to be able to see and check their uniform is appropriate and also to help identify students using the coloured badge on their blazer.  Should heating fail for any reason, expectations will be adapted as appropriate.

All students will be sitting some internal exams next week and there will therefore be periods of silent revision in lessons between exams. Please do help to ensure that students are prepared for their exams and revision by bringing in appropriate writing equipment and materials into school. Please refer to the separate information sent home about this for further details. In addition to their Physics exam (and Food exam for those involved), students in Year 11 will attend a number of sessions to help prepare for post-16 life.
