On Wednesday 20 March 2019, fourteen Year 10 students visited the University of Cambridge to take part in a Physics Experience Day.

We had the chance to look around Fitzwilliam College in the morning, including looking at student accommodation, the library and rooms where teaching takes place. In the afternoon students took part in a physics practical activity in The Cavendish Laboratories where they investigated focal points and lenses. The day finished with a short lecture from a physics professor.
