Thursday the 7th of February 2008 Notley High School went to County Hall Chelmsford to sign up for the Essex County Council’s “The Green Pledge”.  

This is a scheme organised by the Young Essex Assembly which invites schools to sign a pledge towards making their school environment more sustainable and therefore greener.  The Green Pledge was signed on behalf of the school by Mr Tucker and two representatives of the schools environmental action group, “Oui Care” The two pupils were April Woulf 7S and Shaheen Ahmed 8S.
