Congratulations to the 25 Year 9 participants in the Beijing Olympics Competition who came first in the final at Anglia Ruskin University on 29 January.
The group, who performed in final assembly last term, have continued their strict practice regime under Mrs Charnock and Miss Vella and overcame stiff opposition from Saffron Walden County High School and Mayflower School, Billericay to win the prize.
Six of them will now travel to Beijing in August to represent Essex at the closing ceremony of the Beijing 2008 Olympics.
Mrs Charnock and Miss Vella now have the tough task of finding a fair way to choose 6 winners from the 25 competitors!
Congratulations to all the students and Mrs Charnock and Miss Vella on this outstanding achievement.
