On Thursday 15 October 2015, our Year 11 students had the opportunity to participate in Year 11 post-16 workshops, where they were able to experience taster sessions delivered by Braintree Sixth Form staff, as well as visitors from The College at Braintree (Colchester Institute).Students had the opportunity to choose two sessions that would give them an insight into post-16 options. The college providers included sessions that were based on hospitality, public services, hair and beauty, apprenticeships, early years, as well as photography. Braintree Sixth Form offered sessions on a range of A-Level and IB subjects that students could potentially study. This experience has been really useful for students in order to help them to decide what direction they may take when applying for courses next year.
