The rain clouds cleared, the sun shone in the sky and the sense of summer was approaching, as near to 400 Notley High students descended onto the Tennis Courts to participate in the Summer Fayre on Thursday 14 July during PDT.
Over the past several weeks during PER lessons, Year 7 have been creating and organising their charity stalls for this event to raise funds for Edlumino. Their hard work certainly paid off as we raised £889.79 during the hour event! Teachers had wet sponges thrown at them, competitions took place on the inflatable assault course and the most elegant of poses were stuck at the Photo Booth stall.
Overall, with the hard work put in by Year 7, the good humour of the staff and the generosity of students and parents over the past year, Action Equality have raised a grand total of just over £1000 for Edlumino. We would like to thank everyone for their participation and enthusiasm for this event to take place.
