On Friday 15 July, thirty Year 9 students visited The Guardian News and Media Education Centre to participate in a journalism workshop. Students had the opportunity to see the facilities and surroundings of this iconic establishment as well as having the chance to use their resources to report on the world’s news.Students were following the most up-to-date stories and created their own front covers. The quality of their work was excellent. All students thoroughly enjoyed the day and now have a much clearer understanding of the world of journalism.
