The school will be having a non-uniform day on Friday 15 March 2013 to raise money for Comic Relief.
The money we raise will be spent by Comic Relief to help people living incredibly tough lives, both at home in the UK and across the world's poorest countries; from transforming the lives of people in the UK’s most disadvantaged communities, or those living with poor mental or physical health, to protecting street children and providing life-saving healthcare abroad.Students will be asked to make a £1 donation, but if they wish to contribute more they may do so. If you would like your child to bring in a contribution from you this would be acceptable also. Throughout the day there will also be a range of activities arranged by Student Voice for students to take part in so we recommend that students bring a small amount of change with them.
We hope that you are happy for your child to participate. Donations will be collected by tutors during morning registration.
Please note that students are not permitted to wear items that are inappropriate for the school environment, and that for health and safety reasons, the usual rules regarding jewellery and other accessories still apply. Hair must not be dyed an unnatural colour, even temporarily. No shorts or revealing clothes will be permitted. Any students wearing such clothing will be sent home to change.
