Students had the chance to hear from a range of poets that they are studying for the power and conflict element of their English Literature GCSE examination. It is a powerful experience for students to hear the poems they are studying read by the poet themselves, as well as hearing the concepts and ideas behind the poems which will help to further develop their own analysis. Students also heard from the chief examiners who discussed what they are looking for in excellent examination answers.
