You will be aware that Notley High School was inspected by Ofsted on 5March 2009. The inspection was carried out by one of Her Majesty’s Inspectors and an Additional Inspector, who evaluated the overall effectiveness of the school as well as specific areas of the school’s work. I am very pleased to let you know that the inspection team’s conclusion, summarised in the first sentence of the inspection report, was:

 

"This is an outstanding school."

Governors, staff and students at Notley are delighted with this recognition from Ofsted of the quality of the education we provide.  We are confident that we provide outstanding education and care for our students and we now have this endorsement from Ofsted for the work that we do.
