Article Date: 07 July 2015

Dear Parents/Carers

The school will be having a non-uniform day on Friday 10 July 2015 to raise money for PARC (Essex).

PARC (Essex) aims to provide play and recreation facilities for children with disabilities in Essex and short break care for their families and carers. PARC believes every child has a right to play, and children with disabilities need play opportunities which allow for individuality and ability whilst ensuring safety, freedom and choice.
Students will be asked to make a £1 donation, but if they wish to contribute more they may do so. If you would like your child to bring in a contribution from you this would be acceptable also. We hope that you are happy for your child to participate. Donations will be collected by tutors during morning registration.
Please note that students are not permitted to wear items that are inappropriate for the school environment, and that for health and safety reasons, the usual rules regarding jewellery and other accessories still apply. Hair must not be dyed an unnatural colour, even temporarily. No inappropriate shorts or revealing clothes will be permitted. Any students wearing such clothing will be sent home to change.

Thank you in advance for your support. For more information about PARC (Essex) please visit http://www.parc-essex.co.uk/

Yours faithfully

Ms E Mallam
