On Tuesday 7th July, I had the privilege of joining Mr Hardwick in training the 21 newly chosen CHIPS team for September, a peer mentoring and listening scheme, originally set up through Childline (Childline in partnership with Schools).
The day provided strategies and support to help tackle bullying, resolve conflicts and make young people feel safe.
I am pleased to report that they all passed their training and the feedback on the evaluation forms was 100% positive. They were awarded their distinctive green ties at the end of the day. They will be presented with their badges in the end of term assembly next Friday, 17th July.
