On Monday 13 March 2017, 27 Year 10 students were involved in an inspiring workshop as part of the Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge. 

Over an intensive morning session, students learnt key public speaking skills such as how to structure a speech and engage an audience. 

The students' confidence rapidly escalated throughout the day, and by the end every student delivered captivating speeches with clarity and confidence. Currently, four students have been shortlisted before Mrs Stringer selects one to represent Notley High School & Braintree Sixth Form at the regional final in April.
