Harvey was nominated for the Jack Petchey award by Mrs Bird for his achievement in golf outside of school.Harvey has represented Essex in Golf since the age of 10 and was selected as one of the first 11 year olds to be put forward for an under 13 Essex County trial and was successful in being selected. Harvey has played for the under 14s this year and won the whole year’s scratch prize from the under 12s and has been made captain of the squad for the matches for the year. In October, Harvey entered the under 14s section of the Essex schools Gold competition and Langdon Hills Golf club and did very well. Harvey now holds the title of ‘Essex County Champion’ in Golf for his age group.

We are very impressed with Harvey’s achievement as it takes a lot of hard work and practise to achieve so well, and he fully deserves to be recognised for it.
