Christmas capers and festive fun was the order of the day at the school library, with a special 3-day Christmas extravaganza to celebrate the end of term.
Students were invited to take part in a range of Christmas themed activities which included” Pin the Nose on Rudolph”, “What’s in Santa’s Sack?” “Snakes and Candy Cane Ladders”, “The North Pole Challenge”, “Christmas Code Cracker” and a traditional Christmas quiz. Students also had the opportunity to take part in the special Christmas craft session, where lots of lovely Christmas decorations were on offer to decorate and take home, all free of charge thanks to the generosity of the library. Much fun was had by all the students that took part.
A special mention should go to all the students from all the Houses that took part in the “Decorate a Christmas Bauble” competition. The library was decorated with all the entries, which helped create a wonderful festive atmosphere. We would like to thank everyone who came along and took part in the Christmas event.
Please do not forget to keep an eye on the library noticeboard for more fun and exciting events in the library in the New Year.
Wishing you all a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
