Since January, 450 Year 10 students in North Essex have taken part in Jack Petchey Speak Out workshops in their schools.
From these workshops, 20 students from eleven different schools were chosen to take part in last night's Regional Final at Maltings Academy.
I am delighted to announce that Dexan Charlery-Warner, 10O, won! Her speech, titled, ‘Who am I?’, was performed with style. The content and structure was mature and her delivery was exceptional. A video of Dexan’s winning speech is available at this link:
