The DEAR (Drop Everything And Read)  mentoring programme has launched once again for this academic year. The scheme involves several Year 12 students acting as mentors and listening to Year 7 students read once a week during Wednesday morning registrations. The purpose of this scheme is to develop the reading skills of our Year 7 students and this also takes place in the library. The Year 12 mentors are also available to help students choose appropriate and relevant texts which they may wish to read.
