Isobel and her dog Sky successfully qualified to attend the finals of the Young Kennel Club Groomer of The Year Competition at Crufts dog show last week.She qualified in Durham last April.  She competed against eight other competitors in the 12-16 year old age group Clip & Strip class.  Sky is a Norfolk Terrier and Isobel had to groom him as close to show breed standard as possible. Isobel had two hours in the Young Kennel Club ring to groom Sky.  Isobel was awarded 3rd place overall, being the highest placed hand strip in the class. Isobel has trained Sky, who is now 5 years old, since he was a puppy.  Isobel has been competing in grooming for three years now and is very pleased to have won 3rd place this year. Isobel also trains for Obedience, Heel Work to Music, Agility and Handling and has been a member of the Young Kennel Club for many years.
