On Monday 4 February 2019, Year 8 students watched a presentation from the Essex Youth Service, who have worked in partnership with AlterEgo and have commissioned a drama piece to raise awareness of gangs and County Lines.
The drama production focused on grooming and exploitation of young people in relation to the Essex picture. After a play, students engaged in a group discussion, looking at each character’s roles and actions and the consequences of becoming involved.
