Last night we held the first Open Evening at the school for the new Braintree Sixth Form. 

The evening was very well attended by students, parents and staff from Notley and our three partner schools: Tabor Science College, Alec Hunter Humanities College and Honywood Community Science School. It was clear that there was a high level of interest in the Sixth Form from students and parents across the four schools. Applications for Sixth Form places close on 31 January 2009 and we look forward to our discussions with Year 11 students and their parents during the application period.

Mr Thompson would like to thank Mr Fox, Mrs Stubbs and Mrs Halls for their excellent coordination of our first Sixth Form Open Evening and also all the staff who contributed to making the event such a success.
