44 pupils and 8 teachers have returned from a very successful 5 day geography trip to the Bay of Naples in southern Italy. The pupils were from Years 7-9.
The group climbed two volcanoes (Solfatara and Mount Vesuvius), visited the Roman towns of Pompeii and Herculaneum, and took a tour along the Amalfi coast visiting the town of Amalfi and the hill top villages of Positano and Revello. The weather was stunning with temperatures reaching 31 degrees and the Italian food was fantastic with lots of pizza, pasta and ice cream.
Pictures will be available to view on the school trip gallery. I would like to thank all the staff who gave up their holiday time for helping on the trip: Ms Elstone, Ms Wilcox, Ms Vella, Mrs Bennett, Mr Heath, Mr Fernandez.
