We are thrilled to share with you that Isabella Laithwaite in Year 10 was placed as Runner Up in this year's Jack Petchey Speak Out Digital Regional Final which took place on Zoom on Tuesday 20 July.

There were 10 students taking part - from schools right across London and Essex.

Isabella did us all very proud - her speech was fantastic. 'Women are not Paper Plates' was her title, and it will be available on the Jack Petchey Speak Out website soon, should you want to watch it.

She spoke clearly and confidently, and with maturity. Her speech was very well structured, and had a clear message for us all to take away.

She has won a £50 voucher, and a trophy. Huge congratulations, Isabella!
