On Friday 28th September the Schools Network Manager, Mark Fuller and IT Technician Daniel Chidgey attended the annual Tesco computer for schools presentation.

Brooks Newmark the Member of Parliament for Braintree also attended the festivities. There were two other schools in attendance Shalford Primary and Beckers Green Primary. In what was a short affair after a speech from the Store Manager the schools were presented their equipment by Brooks Newmark. Our school choose to bank last year’s vouchers, giving us a massive total 60,000 vouchers to spend this year. Following the replacement of all the computers in school we decided not to purchase computers with the vouchers but to allow every department to choose from the catalogue. Thanks to everyone who handed the vouchers in we were able to grant most request and purchased.

  • A range of software for the Special Educational Needs
  • A Digital Camcorder
  • A Lego NXT Mindstorms Robot set
  • A wireless mouse and keyboard for use in maths classes
  • 10 French games
The school would like to thank everyone who handed in vouchers and hopes that with your continued help next year will be just as successful.

Daniel Chidgey
