Nineteen gifted and talented year 6 pupils from Notley’s feeder schools attended a science master class on Tuesday the 20th of November.
The pupils enthusiastically used data-loggers, that had been purposely bought for use with primary schools, to measure the effect of concentration on rate of reaction. The session was summed up with a quiz on the interactive Qwizdom handsets. All pupils enjoyed the challenge of a demanding practical and fun was had by all. This was the first science master class to take place for year 6 pupils and this will become a regular feature in the school calendar. A special thanks to Mrs Newell for her preparation and assistance.Mr Woodward.
