On Thursday 3 March 2016, forty Year 11 students visited GCSE Poetry Live! at the Cambridge Corn Exchange.Fortunately we had front row seats. Students had the opportunity to listen to poets such as Simon Armitage who discussed poems that they are studying for their GCSE English literature examination. They also heard from chief examiners and were provided with tips on how to tackle the unseen element of the examination, as well as the comparison.
