Over 50 students from Year 10 have been selected as prefects this year; this group includes Senior Prefects, House Captains, Deputy Head Boy and Girl and Head Boy and Girl.These students spent most of the school day on Monday 18 July in training sessions for their new prefect roles. These included a focus on 'Discipline with Dignity', leadership, safeguarding and keeping students safe, as well as team-building activities and a chance to work alongside former senior students at the school to discuss experiences and appropriate responses in different situations. Miss Murdoch, Year 11 student Evie Stoneman, and Year 12 students Adam Grimwood, Scarlett Perrin and Claudia Haswell all contributed to the day. We hope very much that the experience helped prepare students for the challenges of their new roles, and the opportunities ahead of them. Their attitudes and contributions were exemplary.
