On Monday 3 June 2019, Colchester United Football in the Community delivered their presentation ‘United Against Knife Crime’ to all year groups.The assemblies helped students to have a better awareness of knife crime and discussed the potential links between knife crime and gangs through County Lines.

Students analysed a number of real-life situations and looked at the effect that knife crime can have within our community. They also explored the impact that social media and music are having on knife crime and were informed of services who are at hand to offer help and support.
