Paralympian Talan Skeels-Piggins inspired year 10 and 11 students when he visited Notley on Friday 30th November 2012.
His emotional and heart warming story took students and staff alike on a journey from his motorbike accident, resulting in paralysis from the chest down, to his gold medal achievement. His humorous manner and candidness allowed the audience to appreciate the challenges he has faced over the past 10 years and the positive metal attitude he displays and promotes.His message of 'have a dream, adopt a positive mental attitude and apply yourself' have had a huge impact on those who listened to him.
