On Friday 22 March 2019, Claire Hooks, Senior Lecturer for Midwifery at Anglia Ruskin University, and her colleague Martina Donaghy, delivered a two hour session to Year 10 Child Development students.
The midwives discussed key aspects of the curriculum including at foetal development, labour and delivery, and the role of the midwife. Students had the opportunity to hear real life experiences from professionals that work in this sector and to discuss future study and careers.
