On Wednesday 25 April, two of our year 10 students - Melissa Forrester and Kayleigh Cutmore - took park in the Jack Petchey Speak Out Regional Final, at Ramsey Academy.
Melissa and Kayleigh each performed a three minute speech, on a topic that they had chosen. Both Melissa and Kayleigh performed with passion and style, and we are very proud of them for speaking so confidently in public - something lots of adults would shy away from!
We are delighted to announce that out of nineteen speakers, Melissa was placed 3rd overall - a fantastic achievement!
