We warmly congratulate Cairo, a Year 11 student, who has recently been nominated and awarded the Jack Petchey Award from Essex Youthbuild.

Cairo and his brother attend Essex Youthbuild on a Thursday and Friday every week. Cairo was nominated for his perseverance and hard work but particularly for his willingness to help others. Several of Cairo's classmates nominated him saying that he had assisted them with their work and had helped them complete their work.

It was also mentioned that Cairo is always bright and light-hearted which has made him much appreciated by his class mates.
