On 14 March 2019, as part of our celebration of Pi Day, the Maths Department held a competition to find the students and staff who were able to remember the most digits of Pi.

We had entries from a large number of staff and students and the winners were as follows:

  • Amy Howard in first place with 32 digits
  • Jacob Mills in second place with 28 digits
  • Charlie Upchurch in 3rd place with 18 digits.

Mrs Forster was the staff winner with a stunning 70 digits.

Well done to all students who took part. Start learning now for next year!

Mrs M Puleston, Director of Maths
