What an achievement! Well done Hannah, we are so proud of you!
First there was 75,000 entrants with 108 progressing to the next round. Hannah then went on to win third place in the National final of the Spanish Spelling Bee competition held at Anglia Ruskin University on Friday 1st July. This is an outstanding achievement for Hannah and she really deserved to win. She meticulously learnt her 200 words, living and breathing Spanish for months. She had a lot of support from her parents, friends and teachers and she should be proud of herself, as her determination and perseverance has been admirable.
This is also a great success for the school who is very supportive of languages and internationalism. It is one of our core value to promote language learning as well as passion for languages. Hannah's achievement will inspire other students to strive for success.
