On 4 and 5 December 2019 , Year 9 students attended a series of Gambling Awareness Workshops. 

Year 9 students were very engaged in learning about gambling and had lots of questions that were answered. They learnt about the definition of gambling, the legal requirements to be able to gamble, the different ways of gambling (loot crates, scratch cards, lottery, casino, roulette, online betting), how dangerous it can be if you do not get support from friends and family, advice on how to gamble sensibly, how to overcome a gambling problem and where to seek help.
