The school Library was transformed into a Crime scene on Wednesday, 19 November when students were invited to take part in our investigation into the mysterious death of Agatha Trunchbull.
Six teams from Year 7 took part in the lunchtime challenge. There were four evidence gathering activities for each team to perform; the activities used a variety of investigation skills such as interview techniques, forensic science, fingerprinting and observation skills. Did they manage to work out who had done it? Yes they did- it was the Gardner, Constance Moaning, in the Library with a big book! Thank you to all the teams in Year 7 that took part and a special thank you to our Student Librarian Team, in particular Alexander Turner, Harry Eageling, Chenise Smith and Heather Andlaw who were the “Suspects”. It was a great event.Mrs Osborn & Mrs Simkins
