A member of staff nominated Billy; he was an amazing and supportive friend to one of his peers who received a cancer diagnosis last spring.
Billy spent his summer holidays travelling to London by train each day to spend time with his friend when he was in hospital and he took him out on a couple of occasions. Billy set up a JustGiving page and has raised over £3,000 to date through fundraising for the charity that supported Jake and his family.
