On Tuesday 14 November the u14 netball team travelled to Helena Romanes School for the North West Essex District Netball Tournament. The girls sailed through the first round with a 12-0 win over Forest Hall School, and faced local opponents Alec Hunter in the second, where excellent defence in the center court helped us to a comfortable 9-1 win. Our next game was a tougher match against Honywood, but again our defence worked tirelessly to limit their options and brilliant work around the attacking circle meant we won again, this time 9-2.

The girls needed to win their final match to secure their place at the top of the district and, confident after their previous three wins, the girls made easy work of this match, which resulted in a 13-0 win. Overall, the team only conceded three goals in four matches, which is a tremendous achievement they should all be proud of. Most Valuable Player went to Grace Truman (GD) for her excellent defensive efforts.
